Email hello@yafdeck.com for anything to do with Yafdeck. It reaches the person who builds it. Expect a reply within a few days.

Yafdeck can save words for you while you are talking to an assistant. Add it as a connector using this address:

You will be asked to sign in to Yafdeck and approve the connection. The assistant never sees your password, and it can only reach the languages you are learning.

If something goes wrong, the usual causes are:

• Nothing gets saved. The assistant decided not to use the tool. Ask it directly, for example "save that to Yafdeck", and it will.
• It says your connection expired. Disconnect Yafdeck in your assistant and connect it again.
• It says the language is not configured. Add that language under Languages in Yafdeck first. An account holds two at a time.
• It says your deck is full. Archive some cards, or turn on automatic archiving of mastered cards in Settings.

You can see and remove connected assistants at any time under Settings. Disconnecting takes effect immediately.

Settings has an export button. It produces a CSV of every card you own, including archived ones, ready to import into Anki or open in a spreadsheet. Exporting changes nothing about your review schedule.

Email privacy@yafdeck.com from the address you signed up with and ask for deletion. Your cards, review history, settings and connected apps are removed.

Export first if you want to keep your cards, because deletion cannot be undone.

If a card is wrong rather than the app being broken, there is a report action on the card itself. That flags the shared content so other learners stop being given it, which is faster than emailing.
